Us Freedmen On Code was created to support organizations that have led numerous campaigns for reparative justice across the country in an effort to bring about effective change for U.S. Descendants of Chattel Slavery and Freedmen.
Advocacy is essential to bringing awareness to our movement—as we believe that there is strength in numbers. The best solutions are created out of necessity and come from within. It is our mission to apply pressure on politicians and government agencies to delivery the change we deserve.
A freedman or freedwoman is a formerly enslaved person. Historically, enslaved people were freed by manumission (granted freedom by their captor-owners), emancipation (granted freedom as part of a larger group), or self-purchase.

I'm Jay a Reparationist. I am an American Freedmen who lives in California due to the great migration from the south, I am a quiet person by nature but I am loud for the fight of my peoples justice claims.
